〈8-17/12〉Lauscha glass Christmas ornaments

Christmas ornaments from Lauscha village in Germany are coming to Kakimori again this year.

The village in former East Germany is the birthplace of glass Christmas baubles, renowned worldwide for its centuries-old craft and the distinctive beauty of its glass. The annual event presents the work of Michael Haberland, a Lauscha glass artisan who makes hand-blown Christmas ornaments using rare moulds passed down from his grandfather.

Each ornament is an exquisitely crafted object, perfect not only for decorating your tree but for adding a touch of festive cheer to any corner of the home.

Come and be mesmerised by the magic and nostalgia of an East German Christmas.
